Art within the business center

A project shared with the artist, maestro and professor Franco Nocera inspired the vision of showcasing his work within the business center, bringing harmony to the space and creating a highly exclusive and immersive environment for those seeking a top-tier workplace, where visual harmony facilitates concentration, alleviates cognitive stress and embraces Italian excellence.

Franco Nocera

The maestro, Franco Nocera, well known on the contemporary art scene, is admired for his ability to capture deep emotions through enigmatic faces and vibrant compositions.

Playful combinations of blue, green and yellow provide his pieces with a powerful emotional impact, whilst the red and orange details create a unique visual dynamism.

His art is strongly influenced by his Mediterranean roots, with influences ranging from the Expressionism of Willem de Kooning to the bold use of colour by Henri Matisse.

His works feature intense primary colours such as red and black, transforming them into a powerful force that conveys a profound emotional tension.

His style is defined by a minimalist pictorial language, using earthy tones, deep blacks and passionate reds. His art mirrors a never-ending inner quest, hovering between light and shadow, materiality and spirituality.

Nocera paints with a vitality that is expressed with a brilliant, concentrated inner light, which emerges from his works and envelops the colours with a vibrant intensity.

Nocera’s artistic journey is influenced by a variety of sources, travelling from Sicily to South America, as well passing through Europe. His experiences in Argentina, Spain and Portugal have enriched his palette with vibrant colours and dynamic atmospheres, which captivate and challenge the viewer. Nocera rejects art that lacks soul and he does not engage with short-lived fads; his painting is an act of rebellion against all forms of aesthetic trivialisation. His work is never influenced by commercial interests, instead it is guided by the need to express his feelings sincerely. He firmly believes in the power of colour, of painterly touches, and of the feelings that guide the artist’s hand, dismissing the idea that the virtual can replace the materiality of painting.

Many critics and writers have taken an interest in him, including: Dacia Maraini, Irma Mattarella, Mariano Apa, Gonzalo Alvarez Garcia, Francesco Carbone, Vincenzo Consolo, Giovanni Bonanno, Lea Mattarella, Antonio Benemia, Aldo Gerbino, Gemma Salvo Barcellona, Daniela Di Fiore and Emilia Valenza.
